The Ubertin CMS Trainer is designed to allow you to train for SASS competitions without spending a fortune in ammuntion. Chambered in .22 Long Rifle rather than .357 Magnum or .45 Long Colt, the ammunition savings become tremendous very quickly. The CMS Trainer retains the competition-minded features of its larger caliber bretheren, such as a short-stroke hammer, a widened and low profile hammer, and a custom mainspring for a smooth and crisp trigger pull. The 3.5" barrel makes a well-balanced firearm while the 12 round capacity makes this a practical field/fun gun as well. The wooden grips are finely checkered for a solid grip while still retaining the classic single-action looks. The sharp color-casehardening and mid-polish blued finish complete the western look.
